Steve is the founder and Managing Director of Sotech. He
has been working in the I.T. industry for 10 years and has spent most of his
career working on business and accounting systems. Over the years he has become
experienced with a range of languages and tools including COBOL, C, SQL, Gupta
(Centura) SQLWindows, Java, Microsoft Visual Studio & Seagate Crystal
Reports. His database experience includes VAX/Rdb, Ingres and Oracle. Steve has
strong SQL and Oracle database skills, having used SQL for 9 years and Oracle
for 5. He is also an experienced Client/Server developer.
Steve has been consulting in the UK leasing industry
since 1996 and has been involved in a number of implementations of lease
administration systems. Steve has an in-depth knowledge of CFS LeaseTek's
LeaseManag-r 4W and CHP Consulting's ALFA systems, having successfully performed
a data conversion from the former to the latter. He has also supported both
systems. Steve was the original developer of the Sotech Front Office System and
the SoCalc Finance Package, both of which are aimed at the UK leasing market.
